Rev. Kathryn A. Barley is the Founder of the Sanctuary. She is an Interfaith Minister with a healing/energy work/counseling and ministering practice. Certified as a Reiki Master and in Hypnotherapy, NLP, and a Minister of Spiritual Healing through Reiki; PEER I, II and III facilitator, and also the Interfaith Minister’s program at the New Seminary in N.Y.C. She is retired as Executive Editor for Creations Magazine, and has been conducting conscious travels since 1993 with her touring company: Spirit Sojourns. Rev. Kathryn conducts Reiki workshops: Reiki I, II and Master; classes on advanced radiance/ ascension/healing, mindfullness meditation and healing circles with Mary. Rev. Barbara Arnold is an Interfaith Minister of Spiritual Counseling, a board member, and mentor with the Sanctuary. Rev. Barbara holds a B.A. degree from Georgetown University and an M.A. from N.Y. University. As an educator for more than thirty years and a Reiki Master/Teacher, she enjoys teaching reiki workshops to individuals and groups. She facilitates monthly reiki healing circles in her Port Washington home and at a number of community venues, and offers individual reiki healing treatments tailored to each client’s personal needs. Dedicated to restoring spiritual balance to our world, Rev. Barbara enables women to explore aspects of the Sacred Feminine at her Women’s Spirituality Circles and Retreats. Rev. Barbara is available to design and officiate at personalized wedding ceremonies, baby namings, vow renewals, memorials, and other life events. Happily married since 1984, Rev. Barbara offers spiritual counseling for couples as well as for individuals. Rev. Constance Lee Barley: My interest in what “makes people tick” has lead me to study astrology 20 years ago, which began my spiritual life. I am an Interfaith Minister, Reiki Master, Feng Shui consultant, meditation teacher, lightworker, Tarot Card reader (Tarot Card Parties) and crystal worker. Rev. Deirdre Breen-Bernstein: Healing Presence, and Reiki Master Teacher, affirms the worthiness and dignity of all people and respects  suffering as part of the path to expanding consciousness. In her private practice, in Port Washington, NY, she supports and guides her clients inward to receive their Truth and Essence. Along this journey, patterned responses and behaviors realign with deeper balance gracefully improving their physical, emotional and mental health.
In addition to her private practice, she offers healing workshops, teaches Reiki and enjoys the opportunity to speak publicly on behalf of the challenges and joys of The Healing Journey. Rev. Terri Heiman: Interfaith Minister of Spiritual Counseling and Reiki Master has been working in the Healing Arts for over 15 years beginning with crystals and stones creating healing jewelry. She began working with Reiki Energy on her 40th birthday as a gift to herself never knowing where this miraculous energy would lead her. Today, she maintains a private practice coaching individuals along the spiritual path utilizing the energy modalities of Reiki, Crystals, Color Light Therapy, Intuition and the Tarot. Her work with others includes Self-Empowerment, Surviving Divorce by regaining One’s Spirit, Reiki for Moms and all members of the Family, Cancer Care, and Palliative care. Ms. Deborah Lagana-Lorber, RN, MSN: Deborah is a graduate of Hunter College Bellevue School of Nursing and received her Master’s degree in Nursing from Adelphi University. Her interest in interfaith service began as a result of her volunteer work with Girl Scouts coordinating the interfaith service in her community. The work of the Sanctuary blends with her own personal mission to act as a bridge to bring Reiki into health care. Deborah began her Reiki studies in 1997, completing Master training in 1999 with Brahmani Liebman MA and a second Master training with Kathie Lipinski RN, MSN in 2001. As a nurse for over 25 years, she has applied the principles of holistic nursing in a varied career that includes hospital, home care, and diabetes education. Deborah teaches Reiki at Queensborough Community College and co-directed the Sanctuary’s Reiki course at New York Hospital Queens. Rev. Maria Kramer-Robinson is an Interfaith Minister with the SOPH, Author, Spiritual counselor and Inspirational Speaker, who’s mission it is to guide others to awaken to the peace and love within. She has studied alternative healing, peak performance, spirituality and nutrition for over 25 years. She is an Integrated Energy Therapy®) Master Instructor, Usui and Karuna Reiki Master, EFT practitioner, Certified Hypnotist, works with Angels and offers Empowered Quantum Field readings. Maria was born and raised in Denmark, speaks 6 languages, moved to USA in 1981. In private practice she specializes in healing physical, emotional and mental pain, releasing stress, fear, anger and anxiety. Her passion is to empower others to listen to the message their body is communicating to them, so they can set themself free. Rev. Debra Ann Viola: I am an ordained Interfaith Minister from the first class of the Sanctuary. I am a certified Reiki Master, Teach and Advanced Radiance Practitioner. I have a private counseling/healing practice for individuals and also couples. Since becoming a minister I have been performing ceremonies for couples of all backgrounds, commitment and union ceremonies for couples from the gay and lesbian community. I am a dean/mentor/teacher for the subsequent ministerial classes and assisting in the development, organization and participation in healing nights, as well as the future programs and fund raising.
